What’s for Dinner? 7 Meal Ideas for Health, Vitality & Fat Loss

Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a super start to the week filled with awesome workouts, delicious food and many other wonderful things in your life.

At the weekend I had a trial run for my hair for the wedding which meant another trip to the location of the big day and it’s safe to say I got extremely giddy. I never thought I would be getting married at the place we are saying “I do” and can’t believe I shall be a wife in two months…yikes! I loved the hairstyle which I had in mind as the lady did a fab job, and I’m more in love with the place we are getting married. The dogs loved it too after a massive run around on a walk around the grounds, and of course the mister was pretty excited too!

Just look at those ears. Flappy ears galore!

So that’s one thing I’m feeling excited about. The second thing is dinner. Or should I say food. Food and dinner are a match made in heaven. Personally, I like simple meals that aren’t fussy to prepare, are healthy and taste good. Every now and then I don’t mind doing something a bit more complex but general day to day I want something that doesn’t require top culinary skills. Do you feel the same way too? For those of you that want simple healthy tasty meals then I have compiled seven dinner ideas for you to try.

The beauty of these dinner ideas is you can mix and match dishes in order to find what suits your taste. You don’t have to follow these down to every exact ingredient, instead you can use them as a starting point and then find your own creation. With all of the meals you will find that they are filled with vegetables and healthy starchy carbohydrates. There are some healthy fats and protein, all of the ingredients have a certain amount of protein in them just not the amount you are used to seeing in animal-based foods. For those of you that want to learn more watch these videos about Why I Don’t Eat Meat and Why I Eat Plants. Also, for more ideas check out what I’ve been eating HERE and HERE. These are the types of meals we eat at home, I’m reaping the rewards and I’m certain you will feel amazing too!

Other side dishes to try: Rainbow Slaw, Buckwheat Rainbow Salad, Zucchini Noodles with Sundried Tomato Sauce, Cashew Raw Veggie Salad, Asparagus and Avocado Salad and Green Beans with Onions.

If you are still hungry after these meals then have a little something else after. Don’t go to bed hungry! The next time you make the meal be sure to add more of the higher calorie foods such as potatoes, rice and gluten free pasta. You don’t want to stuff yourself but you want to be fully satisfied, energised and feeling awesome! Always add some type of greens and/or other vegetables as this will help satiety and give even more nutrition to your body (the starchy carbs are healthy and nutritious too). If you are too full from the portions in these recipes just simply reduce the amount a little bit until you find the amount your stomach feels comfortable with digesting.

If this is the type of post you’d like to see more of please let me know in the comments below. Send a message to let me know what you think of the recipes. What else can I do to help you on your health and fitness journey? Let me know as I am happy to help you.

Keep your body active, sleep lots, tell yourself you are awesome every day, and eat delicious nutritious food. Feel amazing from within to shine on the outside.

FEEL GOOD WITH FOOD…AND CARBS!
